Non-Existent Customer Service

I called their automated phone service to report a missed newspaper delivery. Four hours later, still no newspaper today. I called Customer Service to complain and could not get through, even after over six attempts. These people simply don't care to bother keeping their paying customers. My advice: Do Not Subscribe. If you already do, Don't Renew.

Preferred solution: A demonstration of improved Customer Service. A reliable phone connection to their representatives. Representatives whose accents are NOT so foreign that they can be easily understood.

Missed home Deliveries

We recently had place of delivery changed to 6159 Atoll Ave. Valley Glen, CA 91301 Subscriber is Phyllis Dosaj (818-981-****). This address is an assisted living home (residential) she is 95 years old and really values getting the LA Times each morning. Last week she did not get the paper twice. Today again no paper. Missing Paper deliveries for 8 consecutive weeks

I have called and several occasions with promises of my Sunday delivery and refunds for missed weeks. I love my Sunday paper. This last week a gain I was promised my Sunday paper, of course no paper arrived, I called again and was promised it would arrive today, still no paper. I want to support this newspaper, but this is ridiculous. Time for me to cancel

I know that the Los Angeles Times is trying to cut costs, but there are other better ways, than doing it with customer service. The Los Angeles Times folks hired a third party company, SITEL, to handle customer service. SITEL contracts with people in the Philippines. Terrible service. Lengthy hold times. Phone recording info atrocious. The great customer service from Mary Melone (at the San Diego Tribune), and her team, is now gone. After 30-40 yrs. as a subscriber, I too soon may be gone.

Can’t get through to cancel my cousin’s paper. Continually goes to busy signal. I’m from Florida and am trying to help my Lis Angelou’s cousin cancel his subscription. Paper piling up outside his bul

It was difficult getting through to the Times. I live in Florida and was calling to cancel my hospitalized cousins paper. I tried several numbers I found on line but it wasnt until I found the right number: 1-80*-252-**** Was I able to reach a person. She took care of this right away.

Delayed newspaper delivery & phone number for customer service didn’t connect.

I didnt get my LA Times in the early morning as usual. Called the number I have but it literally didnt connect to anything, no ring or sound. Went on line to find another customer service number and had the same issue with several other numbers. Didnt even say the numbers were disconnected just nothing. Finally found a number and did get the paper. I didnt see the email that was sent earlier from The Times that they had a problem with the papers in my area, West LA, but to have no easy customer service number when they are charging a fortune for the daily paper is unconscionable.

Fraudulent charges to my bank account.

My bank account was charged for 3 fraudulent subscriptions total ($45.15) to the LA Times. I received nothing for that. (Don't know who did). Response from LA Times. "We cannot refund your money". I consider this to be ROBBERY.

How to pay subscription bill

Its impossible to pay subscription bill on phone call to 1(21*) 283-****. Got a confirmed number on Feb 1st that $131.04 was paid. Today, not so after speaking to five people for 4 hours, Sabrina says system down rejecting credit cards and bank accounts???

No paper two times last week and no paper today. Also WSJ. However, customer service guy was terrific. He got me online access, and helped me get on. Now I will have my crossword puzzle. Yay!
